Are Artemisia products organic?
While we are not a certified organic company, all of our herbs are sourced locally whenever possible, and are always organically grown or grown without chemicals. We know our farmers and our sources.
How beneficial are Artemisia's products?
We pride ourselves in creating high quality, potent infusions whether for topical or internal use, and we work in small batches. This makes us stand out for quality, freshness, and a potent product.
Do you have glycercites available?
We do not make glycerites. We find that an alcohol extraction is our preferred method of extraction of herbs for internal use.
Are Artemisia products safe for kids and animals?
Absolutely! Our products are safe for children and pets alike. We recommend tinctures for children 5 and above (remember there is alcohol in there), and for parents to dose at their own discretion. All of our dietary supplements such as our honeys, vinegars, and oxymels are great for kids when you do not want to use tinctures. Topicals such as our healing salve and calendula salve can be used on babies, children, and pets!
Are there products I should avoid while pregnant?
There are many herbs to avoid while pregnant. Always consult with your doctor or medical professional before taking an herb internally while pregnant. All of our topicals are safe during pregnancy.
