Artemisia Herbs – Wellness, Choice, Empowerment, Community.
Est. 1992
Since it’s establishment in 1992, Artemisia Herbs has maintained a strong presence as a loyal provider of locally sourced, ethically wildcrafted and organically grown plant medicine within New Mexico. Artemisia Herbs is founded on the principle that quality is more essential than quantity. We pride ourselves in the history of a bioregional, sustainable herbal company that continues to inspire, support and benefit those it reaches.
Deeply informed by the intelligence of the plants themselves, we carefully blend by hand in small batches. We are a small crew who work together to craft products which maintain an energetic integrity from farm to medicine. Our herbs are sourced primarily from a family owned farm in Dixon, NM and backyard growers and wildcrafters who care intimately for the plants they grow and harvest.
We love to hear from our customers. Come see us at the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market year round, or give us a call!

One Straw Farm is an organic vegetable and flower farm located in the heart of Dixon, New Mexico. No chemical inputs are ever used, and farm fertility is carefully managed through a series of crop rotation, cover cropping and composting. They grow dozens of varieties of vegetables and specialize in growing premium quality produce. One Straw Farm also produces hundreds of varieties of organic nursery starts for home gardeners, and we have started producing amazing powders, made from our fresh farm produce.
One Straw Farm began in El Guique, NM in 1996. Inspired by The One Straw Revolution, Ric Gaudet attempted to learn from nature in order to create a bountiful and healthy vegetable farm. After 25 years, Ric and his family are still farming, and still trying to blend an ecological approach to farming with earning an honest living and providing the highest quality produce, nursery starts, flowers and dried flower arrangements to customers in Northern New Mexico.
One Straw Farm is run by Ric Gaudet and his partner Tania Marines, with help from children Hannah and Luis.
One Straw Farm is part of a growing movement of small-scale environmentally and socially conscious farms. We provide fresh, safe, delicious food to hundreds of customers each week. Our customers know about our organic and sustainable growing practices, and have confidence in our produce and nursery plants. The farm is also an important part of our family. Ric's daughter Hannah grew up tending vegetables and farm animals, and now, Ric and Tania's son, Luis, is beginning to help on the farm (when he's not too busy climbing trees and splashing in puddles). We believe that fresh food from the farm should not just be for affluent people. We try to keep our prices low enough so that most people can afford them, while still trying to make a living.

Heather Harrell is the owner of For the Love of Bees Farm, a two acre certified organic farm in Penasco, NM. She grows a diverse array of vegetables, medicinal herbs, and honeybee forage species. She also tends honeybees in top-bar hives and is the co-author of Top-Bar Beekeeping, Organic Practices for Honeybee Health, published by Chelsea Green in 2012.
Stephanie Dukette is a small mushroom grower in Santa Fe, NM. Her process started about 15 years ago with a 2 day seminar she took from Paul Stamets. After the seminar her mind was reeling with the possibilities growing mushrooms could take in her life.
She started by dutifully transferring 7 strains of mushrooms from the test tubes she had received at the seminar to various growing mediums. It all started as a hobby that she was quite frankly, not very good at. Slowly her successes began to be more prevalent and each one was such a delight. She kept moving forward, trying to figure out what mushrooms she could grow here in New Mexico using our local inputs as fruiting substrates.
Now she not only offers fresh and freeze dried mushroom cultivars, but she creates mushroom tinctures, mushroom soup and much more.
